The Connotation,Practice,and Policy Trend of the Construction of Scientific and Technological Innovation Centers

Abstract:Science and technology innovation centers at all levels are a concentrated carrier of national innovation resources,an important carrier of national regional innovation layout,and play an important role in enhancing the international competitiveness of science,technology,and industry,and promoting high-quality regional development.The connotation of scientific and technological innovation centers is defined through the differentiation and analysis of concepts related to scientific and technological innovation centers such as scientific centers,technological centers,and industrial centers.On this basis,the paper analyzes and describes the progress of the construction of China's Science and Technology Innovation Center,and puts forward policy recommendations for improving the construction of China's Science and Technology Innovation Center from four dimensions including clarifying the historical mission of the Science and Technology Innovation Center,promoting the systematic construction of the Science and Technology Innovation Center,coordinating various innovation resources with the Science and Technology Innovation Center,and constructing a differentiated regional innovation system.
