Analysis of the Development Characteristics and Trends of Management Science and Engineering in China in the Era of Digital Intelligence ——Based on the Perspective of Research,Education and Technology Application

Abstract:This paper uses bibliometric and content analysis method and knowledge mapping to investigate the current research status,research orientation,talent cultivation,and technology application of China's management science and engineering discipline in the era of digital intelligence from three perspectives including research,education,and technology application,by using the key journal literatures,NSF funded projects,and 2022 discipline education institutions'doctoral training directions in the last decade as support.The study found that the research of management science and engineering disciplines in China is developing towards the field of digital intelligence research,and the traditional fields are in a deep state of cultivation while being influenced by digital intelligence and constantly integrating with it and innovating research methods.In addition,research related to the field of digital intelligence represented by big data is developing rapidly at present and related talents are in great demand.In the context of the digital intelligence era,research in academic fields has generally shown the development trend of intersectionality,technicalization,effectiveness,synergy,and complexity.
