Technological Cross-border and Scenario Innovation in the Context of Digital China Construction ——Artificial Intelligence Industry Complexity Measurement

Abstract:The construction of digital China requires the cross-border integration of artificial intelligence technology and the proliferation of application scenario innovation.Constructing measurement indicators reflecting the process of technology diffusion and scenario innovation and analyzing them quantitatively will help to grasp the direction and trend of the construction of digital China.This study forms a dataset of artificial intelligence industry partnerships by capturing,recognizing and mining Internet open source text.Applying complexity algorithms to the analysis by constructing a matrix of technology-scenario fusion relationships,the AI Industry Complexity Index was calculated for the years 2014 to 2021.The study shows that China's AI industry complexity index maintains steady growth,but exhibits hierarchical differences at different stages of development.At present,the innovation and integration in the field of industry is challenging;intelligent manufacturing and intelligent connected vehicles are application scenarios worth focusing on breakthroughs.The in-depth interaction between core and converging industrial sectors will form a positive feedback effect and a strong synergy for the construction of digital China.
