Abstract：This paper puts forward the idea of building a new energy system demonstration area,reviews the research status of the two development strategies,considers the theoretical and practical significance of building a new energy system demonstration area,analyzes the specific reasons for building a new energy system demonstration area from the aspects of necessity,feasibility,historical practice and comprehensive conditions,and puts forward specific suggestions for building a new energy system demonstration area in five aspects including macro planning,pilot content,key elements,systematic objectives,time schedule and safeguard measures.
