Abstract:This paper uses the micro enterprises-data together with regional industrial data, by two-level hierarchal linear model, analyses how knowledge spillovers enhance the innovation in enterprises under the background value chain segments. The results showed that China's regional diversity knowledge spillover has positive effect on enterprise innovation. However, because of low-level cluster and “lock-in effect”, regional specialization is tend to constrain innovation, and the dislocation of the production and R&D makes the situation worse.R&D knowledge spillovers promote innovation by improving the accumulation of knowledge's effect, while production knowledge spillovers promote innovation through increasing R&D input factors output elasticity.
