Abstract：The highway is an important product of the country s economic development,the disasters can not be ignored caused by highway emergencies.Based on the current science and technology,highway emergencies can not be completely prevented effectively.So the paper started from the characteristics of the emergency management,analyzed how to rely on scientific and technological support to establish an efficient emergency management system in order to minimize the various types of losses brought by emergencies and better play the economic and social benefits of the highway.
