Abstract：Rural scientific and technological progress plays a very important role in China s innovation of science and technology.To evaluate its progress is a great help to improve the innovation ability of rural science and technology.In this paper,from the point of view of investment,output and transformation in science and technology as well as economic,social and ecological effects,through the concept of the growth rate,we analyze the time-series data from 2001 to 2010,conclude the changes in the level of scientific and technological progress in the rural areas of our country over the past 10 years and put forward some policy recommendations.
