Abstract：The power industry is related to national security and national economy.Evaluation index system model was designed,and 20 power generation enterprises which were the world top 500 enterprises in 2011 were evaluated in the paper.The opportunities and challenges of building world-class enterprises for China's power generation enterprises were analyzed,and some recommendations were presented.
