Inter-Organizational Knowledge Transfer Mechanism in Technology Alliances from the Bionics Perspective

Abstract：To uncover the mechanism of inter-organizational knowledge transfer in technology alliances, we adopt bionics method to construct a theory model composing of four fermentation elements including knowledge strain, knowledge yeast, knowledge intermediary and advanced knowledge.Furthermore, the process for the convergence, divergence and synergy of internal transferring fermentation is deeply explored and the corresponding case is analyzed in this paper.The results show that the key of inter-organizational knowledge transfer in technology alliances is to follow the rules of transferring fermentation and foster the fermentation elements.
