Abstract：The smart city is a composite giant system which contains a plurality of subsystems.To better understand what smart city is,and find out its' system components,this paper describes the background and content of smart city,explores the subsystems of the smart city,as well as the content and the relationship between the subsystem.It analyzes the application for smart city system in smart city development planning,which provide theoretical approaches and decision-making for the design and construction of smart city
