Legitimacy and Early Performance of Patent Commercialization

Abstract:Based on the clarification of the relationship between performance of commercialization of patent and entrepreneurs,this paper analyzes the causes,connotation and function mechanism of legitimacy which play important roles in the process of patent commercialization.It focuses on the subject and object of legitimacy,and the relationship between them.The paper points out the important influence of legitimacy on the performance at the early stage of patent commercialization.The legitimacy is one of the important complementary assets to get the performance above.The accesses of legitimation include obtaining high-quality patents,establishing legal entity,completing business plan,and selecting strategies portfolios.
