Abstract:Construction industry used to be extensive management and low-efficiency.One important reason for this situation lies in low-level of informationization.It has been an inevitable trend that BIM technology will eventually replace the traditional CAD technology.BIM provides a uniform platform for information exchange in construction supply chain so as to adapt customer-made requirement in construction industry.As normal information sharing,BIM-based supply chain information sharing will face cost,technology,information distortion and risk issues.Moreover,construction industry and BIM technology themselves also make some obstacles for information sharing.In order to remove these barriers to realize information sharing and increase values of construction supply chain,it is necessary to break the existing pattern of interests,establish and improve core enterprises around the construction supply chain,and integrate new mechanism for BIM and IT technology information sharing based on contracts and standards.
