Abstract：This paper proposes indicator improved method which takes factors technically depending on foreign corporations into account,and then conducts empirical analysis on the foreign technology dependent status of the whole country,the industry and the high-tech industries.The results show that after considering the factors of foreign enterprises,modified indicators decline range is significantly lower than the commonly used indicators calculated results.The foreign technology dependence of some high-tech industries is still at a high level of more than 50%,far from the requirements of establishing an innovative country
