Abstract:Based on the data of large and medium-size industrial enterprises in Chinese provinces,this paper investigates spatial pattern of the international innovative resources inflows and its impacts on China's innovation output with spatial econometrical tools.The exploratory spatial data analysis identifies significant spatial agglomeration and spatial dependence at the provincial level.The spatial lag model reveals that international innovative resources inflows impact the Chinese provincial innovation output positively,though the effects is smaller than that from indigenous R&D efforts.Moreover,evidence is found of spatial spillovers among Chinese provinces
