Evolution and Explanation of Provincial High-Tech Industry Inequality in China

Abstract：Based on the data of 2002—2012,the paper shows that the gap of provincial high-tech industry development in China had the trend of “first increased and then decreased” with the inflection point in 2004.The gap among zones(areas)was the main source of global inequality.Regional natural factors were the most significant and its the relative contribution rate showed a weak growth.The relative contribution of economy foundation and industrialization rate also had downward trend.The relative contribution of marketization and the innovation ability raised
