Abstract：Based on the seven categories of resource-based industry panel data from 2001 to 2012 in Xinjiang, this paper constructs the industrial ecological development index system of resource-based industry.It adopts the entropy evaluation method to measure the industrial ecology development level.Then it carries on comparative analysis to industrial ecologization level change of different types of resources-based industry.The results show that the resource-based industry ecological development level is low and increases slowly.The resource efficiency is higher but increases more slowly, while environmental efficiency is lower but increases faster.There is a large gap of industrial ecological development level in different types of resource-based industry.In the evolution of different resource-based industry ecological development level, efficiency and technical conditions are different, the large and medium-sized national enterprises play foundamental roles and they all have strong reliance on the environmental pollution control
