Abstract：In order to understand the logic of servicization in China,this paper gives a case study focusing on the strategic transformation of Guangtian whose competitiveness were largely derived from those industrial logic such as in-house R&D and mass production,which shapes a Guangtian Model.We emphasize the critical role of latecomers' disadvantage on system level,which refers to the shortage of knowledge on both cross-organizational cooperation and absorptive capacity in organizations,as the source of Guangtian model.The final part gives conclusions and policy suggestions on improving this disadvantage
