Abstract：Based on results collected by 2975 surveys across 11 provinces and investigation on the spot,it studies and analyzes the phenomenon that the function of agricultural technology popularization institute have been weakening in recent years.This study reveals that weakening of popularization institute is closely related to the transition in agricultural industry.And the existing system for popularization cannot fit operation rules under new conditions.Results from empirical analysis indicates that the transition of agricultural technology popularization institute is already in extreme urgency.In the end,this paper offers related suggestions to improve suitability of popularization institute for future reference
