Abstract:Research on the socio-technical system transitions has increased rapidly in recent years,and formed some theoretical frameworks such as multi-level model and transition management.The studies about multi-level model indicated that the socio-technical system transition is the result of the interaction of landscape,socio-technical regime and niche.The socio-technical system transitions are regarded as a continuous and gradual process in the transition management theory,and transition management includes strategic management,tactical management and operational management.As a typical socio-technical system,energy system is one of the key areas in socio-technical system transition research.China can learn a lot from the research and practice of other countries in the socio-technical system transitions
