Intersectoral Technology Diffusion Effects of High-Tech Industry in Jiangsu Province

Abstract：This paper presents a quantitative method for researching the intersectoral technology diffusion effects of high-tech industry.The effects of absorption and spillover among high-tech sectors in Jiangsu in 2000,2007 and 2012 are evaluated respectively through an input-output approach.Based on social network analysis,the networks of intersectoral technology diffusion are constructed to analyze the structure characteristics,evolution trends of the technology diffusion effects of high-tech industry in Jiangsu.The results show that,the intersectoral technology diffusion effects get enhanced first,then appear a modest weakening.In addition,the capacity of each high-tech sectors tends to be equal and reasonable.However,final outputs of high-tech sectors mainly benefit from their own R&D inputs.Finally,some suggestions about the intersectoral technology diffusion of high-tech industry in Jiangsu are given
