Abstract：Defense technology transfer and transition are two different concepts in the U.S.,but both aspects are equally important.Recently it focuses more on quick capability transition and joint capability transition.America has made top strategies,formed perfect organization structure and set a series of programs for defense technology transfer and technology transition,which not only set up defense industrial base of civil-military integration,but also promote industrial innovation ability.Through the analysis of US top strategy,organization structure and defense technology transfer and transition programs in 2010—2012 fiscal years,the paper puts forward some suggestions on defense technology transfer and transition in China
