Abstract:In total output value of high-tech industry as the main indicator,it uses the coefficient of variation and the space Markov chains method from the time,temporal and space to explore regional high-tech industry development differences in China during 1995—2013.The study finds:differences of regional high-tech industry development continues to slowly expand as a whole,and presents two high-level and low-level convergence reinforcement;regional space metastases are type of high technology industry development is development level disparity is smaller,the higher the probability of the shift,the greater the gap of development level,shift the lower probability.The neighborhood background significantly affect the evolution of the differences in regional high technology industry development,At a low level,low level of high technology industry development area,the geographical proximity effect is not obvious,and in high level increased significantly.Finally,the development of regional high technology industry development policy recommendations on this basis
