Abstract：Based on the visual analysis method of CiteSpace knowledge map,a quantitative analysis was conducted on the research of“science and technology administration”published in the Journal of Chinese Social Science Citation Index(CSSCI),and the following conclusions are presented.Firstly,in the last ten years,there are some hotspots in the research of science and technology administration in China,such as S&T system and policy,scientific & technological evaluation,university S&T administration system,university S&T innovation,S&T achievements of universities and scientific research personnel,institutions and the important carrier of S&T research.Secondly,S&T administration research has a strong dependence on the national S&T system and the S&T policy.The national S&T policy has promoted the development of science & technology administration in China.Thirdly,university is an important subject of national S&T innovation,and the innovation ability of university is important to the construction of innovation oriented country.Fourthly,scientific research personnel and scientific research team construction is the key to promote S&T innovation,and science & technology journals are important carriers to promote the development of S&T research and development.The government should be committed to promoting the development of high level scientific research team building and high quality academic journals
