Abstract：Based on enterprise internal and external factors,this paper analyzes the moderating effects of absorptive capacity and environmental turbulence on the relationship between technological diversification and firm performance.It collects panel data from 2004—2012 on listed companies in China's five industries to do empirical research.The result shows that technological diversification has a positive effect on firm performance.Absorptive capacity and market turbulence play significantly positive moderating role in the relationship between technological diversification and firm performance.Technological turbulences' moderating effect between technological diversification and performance is not supported completely
