Abstract：Based on the data of 60 listed manufacturing companies in China,this paper examines the relationship between R&D input and export.We find that enterprises' R&D investment has positive influence on the export,and the effects on the innovative enterprises are more significant than that of the non-innovative enterprises.Meanwhile,the exports of innovative enterprises respond more sensitively to the rate of profit,the government R&D investment,enterprise scale and market power,which shows that the innovative enterprises' R&D activities would produce more positive effects on its international competitiveness.
