Effect of Government Procurement on Technological Innovation

Abstract：Public procurement is an important instrument that can be used to stimulate innovation,direct economic development,protect domestic industries and implement macro-regulation.The paper uses the 2001—2013 provincial panel data.The empirical outcome shows that government procurement has no positive effect on technological innovation in China,and the effect varied according to the different type of innovations
