Abstract：Science and technology supervision is key content of modern science and technology governance system.To strengthen government performance accountability,federal government constructed all-around supervision mode combining internal supervision and external supervision.The article studied American science and technology supervision mode and gave suggestions on building Chinese national S&T supervision system combing internal with external supervision and classifying on supervision entity
