Abstract：The core connotations of the national defense intellectual property management are to take encouragement of innovative achievements,allocate resources effectively and support technology transfer.Valuing defense intellectual property management and technology transfer highly,America has built a well-run organization system and support system to maintain its competitive advantage in military technology.This paper sorts out American relevant practices including strategies,laws and policies,administrative systems,and operating mechanisms.Then it summarizes its advantages to improve the national defense intellectual property management and technology transfer of China
