STEM Education and the Implementation Strategies in Major Countries of the World

Abstract:Motivations and realization approaches for STEM education of the United States,Germany,UK,Australia,Japan,South Korea and Malaysia are analyzed to sort out the implementation strategies from the four aspects of policy support,social participation,resource integration and talent cultivation.On this basis,some implications for STEM education in China are concluded,including strengthening the strategic position of STEM education and policy support,promoting the whole society to participate and reinforcing collaboration,integrating various types of resources and mobilizing many partners involved,optimizing the mode of training talents and emphasizing the introduction of talents
