Abstract：Creative talents have such a tendency to focus on specific areas in the geographical spaces.Based on the case of Dafen Village in Shenzhen,this paper discusses the developing processes of oil painting agglomeration area in Dafen Village,and theoretically sums up five evolutional stages of the area under spontaneous mechanism as “start—growth—rooting—self-enhancement—renewing(depression)”.It finally points out the subsequent growth and development of creative talents agglomeration areas needs effective planning and guidance from governments.The local government should focus on creating“contingency”conditions and help creative talents to transfer their self-values,and constantly improve the urban talent agglomeration abilities to ensure the sustainable development of the agglomeration areas
