Abstract：Data development applications are the primary value of opening data,so to promote application innovation has become the focus in the current stage of government data open.In view of the data application,this paper takes comparative the main practice and patterns of forcing application innovation in government data open at home and aborad.The paper puts forward the main problems of Chinese government data application,such as lack of dominance of business and the public,lack of supporting services,lack of sustainability of application innovation.It proposes some suggestions for data application of China to open government data
