Abstract：With the invention of the Bitcoin,the blockchain,the underlying technology of Bitcoin,has attracted widespread attention.The purpose of this paper is to introduce the blockchain and its characteristics,then classify and compare it.On this basis,we summarize the application scenarios of blockchain and emphatically analyze the change and potential challenge.The study finds that:the blockchain technology helps to establish a new trust model for global interconnection,which optimizes the transaction process,reduces transaction costs and enhances the efficiency of collaborative advantage.It brings reform solution for the industry pain points.But the revolution would not reshape the world.It takes some time to be widely accepted the standardization of the blockchain by industry participants and regulators,and it will bring the challenge of technology,business model,government regulation,ecological system to some relevant industry.How to form a benign ecological cycle of blockchain development and the development of uniform standards is a hot issue in future research on blockchain.
